The wood species Poplar is often seen in European countries, like Italy, Spain, North American countries like America and Canada, and Asia countries like China, Korea, Japan and the neighboring countries in east Asia.
Poplar Plywood is usually used for making the furniture, kitchen cabinet, or any additional significant parts of non-structural wood products.
In China, Poplar is one of the economical wood material, which is high frequently used for making cupboard, wood bed slat,kitchen cabinet, showcase, door, window, wood flooring, etc.
And in China, poplar is planted in many Northern provinces like Henan, Jiangsu, Shandong, Hebei, Anhui. It is fast-growing species, averagely, every 5 years, the poplar trees can become the adult logs for peeing the poplar veneer.
Since the density of the poplar plywood is between 530 kg /m3 and 550 kg/m3, it has the lower density, compared with the ordinary wood species like Birch plywood, Beech plywood, eucalyptus plywood, pine plywood. It is the kind of the lightweight plywood which is used as the van liner (camper van linings), furniture or cabinet for the yacht or van.
The Poplar plywood can be overlaid with the polyurethane materials like PET, HPL, PVC and Melamine Paper. In the meantime, the poplar plywood is often overlaid with natural wood veneer, like Red Oak, White Oak, Beech, White Birch, Walnut, etc.
