There are many different types of wood flooring and it is important to understand what makes each type unique. Texture refers not only to the appearance of the floor, but also to its physical feel. In order to achieve the different sensory characteristics of the wood floor, the table board is usually used to sanding, brushing, copying, sawing and scraping processes.

Sanding: Smooth feeling. The grinding process eliminates indentation and texture changes on the wood surface.

Band swan: It looks rough. Saw marks on the board. After the wood is polished, although it looks rustic, it actually feels soft to the touch.

Hand sculpted: Contains saw marks, and is then sanded by hand for one-of-a-kind appearance.

Distressed: The texture of these boards has a more rustic feel, which is ideal for areas with high traffic; As the boards wear out, they become more beautiful and individual.

Brushing: The nylon brushes away the soft grain, revealing the hard grain of the wood. A light brush will show less texture, while a hard brush will show more. It can also achieve a slurry effect, where lighter wood within the grain appears where it has been brushed.
